JOB TITLE: Domiciliary Care worker

SHIFT PATTERN: Variable with weekend availability
PAY: Up to £11.50/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Providing personal care and support within our clients homes in the community whilst encouraging independence.
Preparation of meals and assistance with feeding where necessary
Administer medication and assist with medication management
Companionship calls, social visits and days out
Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and cleaning
Establish methods of communication with clients, reducing barriers when necessary
Providing physical and emotional support, ensuring that respect and dignity are maintained at all times.
Document client progress and report any changes or concerns to supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working within a care environment is advantageous but not essential as full induction training will be given.
Valid right to work in the UK
Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, clients and their families.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check
